School Based Day Treatment for Elementary and Middle School Students
Program Highlights
- Provides a half day of special education combined with a half day of intensive therapeutic services in one location and with one team of qualified staff
- Program is a cooperative effort with the Hiawatha Valley Education District
- Students must meet or qualify for Special Education services and must have a current IEP
- Students have exhausted the resources of their home schools or their needs are such that they cannot be met in the regular school environment
- Program works very closely with parents, home schools, and other collateral services
- Goal is for the student to achieve a level of behavioral and academic success that will allow them to successfully integrate back to their home school setting
